The Chandelier
Another place that is definitely worth a visit is the Chandelier. Though none know where the Chandelier
is - for it is said that it is not so much a location as a state of mind - many inhabitants of TEUNC know
how to find it, or indeed have dwelt in it, for it is the home of the Lurkers.
Be careful, though, when
walking under it, for the Chandelier is also inhabited by some of the more shy and retiring dundeead of Balrog Cuttings, and not all of them can hold on too well; especially the roving eyes and the zmobies have problems, for obvious reason...
Banazir the Jedi Hobbit has suggested that the Chandelier be marked a Falling Dundeead hazard on the village map, but since the Chandelier has no geographical location, this seems to be impossible.
An apparently reliable witness once reported the following Dwellers in the Chandelier:
- Laurie Campos
- seven or eight ghouls (of the human-flesh-eating variety, some of the Zelazny kind)
- an emperor demilich (no, not a hobbit lich, just a really burnt-out undeead wizard)
- several dozen zombies
- four Cauldron-Born
- a pair of barrow wights
- a burrow wight (Thain Isengrim, if I make out the heraldry correktly)
- a skeleton (knot the one from the BC phone booth, but maybe his sister)
- an endless stream of *stsahg* (kindasorta like *psag* but knot qwite)
- and some floating eyes
