The first one is the Entwood, where Meneldil lives. This lovely, light and airy forest is a part of the wooded land between Alatar Forest and the western edge of the Hills of Scary. A small river runs through it.
The second is the Locked Wood, home of Gondhir. This is how he himself describes his
dwelling, which has been seen by few:
.... a mysterious forest known only as the Locked Wood, for all about this forest lies a
tall, impenetrable wall manned 24 hours a day, 365.2425 days a year (on average) by warrior
Dwarves who have sworn allegiance to the Lord of the Locked Wood, named Graham among Men,
and called Gondhir by the Elves. In the center of this wood, and visible from far beyond its
borders, rises an imposing mountain of granite, its bare sides unadorned by the trees of the
lowlands. Within this mountain can be found the ancient halls of Mazarbdush carved there long
ago in the living rock. Few outsiders have ever seen the majesty and splendor of those halls
and none have ventured deep below to the lower levels. Little is known for certain to the
outside world, but it is said that Daemons toil endlessly there mining data from
the rich databases found deep beneath the Forest.
An original inhabitant of Balrog Cuttings, Lord Graham is also the Warden of
the Keys of TEUNC, which are kept under constant guard within the vaults of Mazarbdush.
Although of old, he was bound by oath to the Queen Rabbyt, serving as Royal Detective at
Need, he was far abroad at the time of the ReViolution and so could not come to her succour.
When he returned, he found that Castle Hare was no more and the Queen was in self-imposed
exile. Seeing that TEUNC was now once again at peace with itself and hearing that the Queen
had left peacefully, he made no complaints but instead accepted the new order of things and
returned to the Locked Wood where he now resides.
